”Odin”, ”Blönni” or ”Bibu” is our oldest, and actually right now our only Greenland Dog. Also the first.
Odin is a typical Greenland Dog, he ”shows emotions” easily and remembers every bad thing happened. When he was young, he was open and social with people, wagging his tail to everyone. But then one winter I was not careful enough and tourist group scared him bad, ever since he has been shy on strangers. Otherwise he is easy, very obedient, a real good boi. He has a low preydrive and he can be kept off leash. Calm, quiet. Very social in a pack, gets along with most dogs. Even though he is bigger in size, a thin string is enough for a leash with him. And like typical Greenland Dog, his appetite is extreme.
Odin is a very good sleddog. He is strong, a bit hot, but doesn’t cause problems. Runs eagerly and ran with Huskies as younger. Big size made him a wheeldog, but he had no problems to lead either. Retired.
